This piece began as a solo piano composition, but over the course of a composition class at a summer school at the VCA, it became this ensemble work.
This piece follows a ship, as it leaves the calm beach, travels out to sea, is swept up in a storm, and eventually lands on a new shore. The sea has always had romantic and dreamlike images associated with it, hence the title - “Sea of Dreams”
