Ok, so it’s been a while. But, if you have checked back recently, you may have noticed a couple of changes. Well, ok - maybe just one change (which shows itself in a few different places). Basically, I’ve added a new page - “Photography“. Here you can see all of my favourite photos, while I’ve still got the “Family and Friends” photos separate from this site, at http://gallery.sobriquet.net. All the photography photos are also up on Flickr - you may remember me talking about Flickr a while back?
Anyway, the main purpose of this post was to show you some photos I took while the Commonwealth Games were in Melbourne. Sure, so I didn’t see any of the sporting events, but there were some very funky things happening for the festival. I’ve got some photos of the “luminarium” which was on St Kilda beach (made by the “Architects of Air“, and of the city at night, including the “Fish” which lined the Yarra while the games were on. All these photos are in the commonwealth games 2006 album. Enjoy!
